Earlier this year, Hollywood publication The Wrap released a report that painted Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in a negative light, claiming he often arrived late to film sets and would sometimes urinate in bottles instead of taking a bathroom break. Recently, Johnson addressed these rumors in a cover story for GQ magazine.
Johnson admitted that he occasionally arrives late and has, at times, used a bottle when no bathroom was nearby. However, he dismissed the report as “bulls**t,” denying that his lateness was as frequent or unprofessional as reported.

Several of Johnson’s co-workers, including actors Chris Evans and Emily Blunt and director Jon Kasdan, spoke in his defense.
Evans noted that Johnson’s schedule is usually well-coordinated with the rest of the team, and any delays are communicated in advance. Johnson explained that he values accountability and transparency regarding his actions on set.
During the interview, Johnson also shared how his career goals have evolved. Previously focused solely on blockbuster hits, he has now taken on more diverse roles.
He recently completed filming The Smashing Machine, a biopic about UFC fighter Mark Kerr, showing his interest in projects beyond traditional action films.
Despite this shift, Johnson remains committed to family-friendly movies, with Red One and Moana 2 set to release soon, and a live-action Moana scheduled for next year. Amid this packed schedule, The Rock still plans to make occasional appearances in WWE.
