Taya Valkyrie made a successful debut in Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) at an all-women’s show on March 7, 2025, marking a significant milestone for women’s wrestling.

In addition to showcasing Valkyrie’s skill in the ring, this event demonstrated CMLL’s dedication to presenting female talent on a large scale.

The Path to Victory

In order to determine the future CMLL World Women’s Tag Team Champions, Valkyrie and Lady Frost competed in the first eliminator tournament.

Johnnie Robbie and Skadi defeated Valkyrie and Hera in a seeding fight royal to set the stage for the rest of the evening’s events.

In the first round, Valkyrie and Frost took on Las Valientes (Hera and Olympia), unfazed by the first defeat. They advanced to the first eliminator finals with a resounding victory, showcasing remarkable teamwork and perseverance.

Valkyrie and Frost faced off against Kira and Skadi in the final fight. Both teams displayed their abilities and tenacity during the fierce game. Ultimately, Valkyrie and Frost emerged victorious, earning their spot in the championship match set for CMLL’s “Homenaje a Dos Leyendas” event on March 21, 2025.
