After suffering a pelvic injury during Thursday night’s 117-114 victory over the Toronto Raptors, Golden State Warriors supporters may now relax as star point guard Stephen Curry’s most recent MRI showed no structural damage.
The Incident
Curry crashed into Raptors forward Jonathan Mogbo while driving to the hoop late in the third quarter, landing hard on his tailbone.
After a few moments on the ground, he was helped to the locker room and did not come out to play the rest of the game.

MRI Results and Recovery
Curry sustained a pelvic contusion without any structural damage, according to an MRI performed after the game.
He will be reassessed on Monday and is anticipated to miss the opening of the Warriors’ forthcoming six-game road trip, which starts on Saturday against the Atlanta Hawks.
Team Performance Without Curry
This season, the Warriors have shown resilience without their star player, going 7-3 without Curry. Draymond Green topped all scorers with 21 points in the most recent game against the Raptors, while forward Jimmy Butler III achieved a triple-double with 16 points, 11 rebounds, and 12 assists.

Curry’s Season Performance
Curry was averaging 24.2 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 6.0 assists per game this season before being hurt. The Warriors have won nine of their previous ten games, and his scoring ability and leadership have been essential to their recent success.
Looking Ahead
The Warriors will depend on their depth and the efforts of guys like Butler and Green to keep up their momentum as they travel. Curry’s quick recovery and return to the starting lineup are hoped for by both teammates and fans.
