The Road to Redemption

Resilience and tenacity have been hallmarks of the LA Knights’ return to the US Championship. Knight faced many obstacles in his attempt to win the title again after losing it to Nakamura at Survivor Series: WarGames on November 30, 2024, which ended his 119-day reign.

Knight’s rematch with Nakamura for the United States Championship on the January 10, 2025, episode of SmackDown resulted in Knight’s disqualification after he was attacked by Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu of The Bloodline. But since titles don’t change hands through disqualification unless specifically stated, Nakamura kept his title.
