Cody Rhodes Names Three WWE Legends Destined for the Hall of Fame

One of WWE’s biggest talents and the current Undisputed WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes, has never hesitated to give credit where credit is due.

“The American Nightmare” recently discussed his opinions on the WWE Hall of Fame, citing three superstars—John Cena, Randy Orton, and his own brother Dustin Rhodes, popularly known as Goldust—that he feels are certain to be inducted in the future.

Three Future Hall of Famers According to Cody Rhodes

1. John Cena – The Face of WWE

It is hardly shocking that John Cena is included in this conversation. One of the most well-known personalities in wrestling history and a 16-time world champion, Cena has gone beyond WWE to become a Hollywood celebrity and an international representative of the sport.

Throughout his two decades with WWE, he inspired millions of people, carried the company on his shoulders, and served as the main eventer at several WrestleManias. Cena is already guaranteed a spot in the Hall of Fame when he retires because of his unmatched work ethic and dedication to WWE’s “Never Give Up” motto.

2. Randy Orton – The Viper’s Legendary Career

Since making his WWE debut in 2002, third-generation superstar Randy Orton has been a mainstay.

With 14 world titles under his belt, Orton has continuously produced amazing fights and fascinating narratives, transitioning from “The Legend Killer” to “The Apex Predator.” His legacy is cemented by his long-standing feuds with figures like Edge, Triple H, and Cena. Even though Orton is still playing well at the age of 44, his admission into the Hall of Fame will only be a formality when the time comes.

3. Dustin Rhodes (Goldust) – A Trailblazer in WWE

Dustin Rhodes, Cody’s brother, is one of the most important people in WWE. Dustin, best known as Goldust, broke down barriers in the 1990s with his inventive and controversial character work. Dustin was first unappreciated, but he eventually became well-known for his storytelling and in-ring prowess.

His reputation as a genuine wrestling legend is cemented by his career in the industry, which spans several decades throughout WWE, WCW, and AEW. Even though he hasn’t been inducted yet, a lot of peers and admirers think Dustin will eventually be admitted to the Hall of Fame.

Cody’s Respect for WWE History

Being the son of Dusty Rhodes, a member of the WWE Hall of Fame, Cody has always had a strong interest in wrestling history.

In addition to demonstrating his appreciation for their efforts, his recognition of Cena, Orton, and Dustin as potential Hall of Famers also demonstrates his awareness of how WWE is changing.

Many people think that “The American Nightmare” will soon be inducted into the Hall of Fame, even if Cody is still authoring his own legacy.

His remarks stand as a reminder of the enduring influence these three superstars have had on WWE and professional wrestling in general until that time.
