Carmelo Hayes Aligns with The Bloodline: A New Chapter in WWE

In a noteworthy turn of events in WWE, emerging talent Carmelo Hayes has officially joined forces with The Bloodline faction, recognizing Solo Sikoa as his Tribal Chief.

This decision not only alters the relationships within The Bloodline but also elevates Hayes into a significant storyline, highlighting his rise within the WWE ranks.

Hayes’ Journey to The Bloodline

Carmelo Hayes, celebrated for his athletic skills and charisma, has been gaining recognition since he joined the SmackDown roster in 2024. His path has been characterized by fierce rivalries and impressive performances, particularly in his series of bouts against Andrade, which reached a climax in a best-of-seven series that highlighted his toughness and skill in the ring.

Although he fought valiantly, the series ended with both wrestlers winning three matches each, along with one bout resulting in a no contest, showcasing the balanced nature of their confrontations.

Hayes’ interactions with The Bloodline members started to heat up in early 2025. On the January 17 episode of SmackDown, he issued a challenge to Jimmy Uso, which led to a match that concluded in disqualification due to interference from The Bloodline’s Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu.

Following this, Hayes sought to establish an alliance with The Bloodline but was instead attacked by Fatu, indicating the complicated dynamics of his relationship with the group.

Acknowledging Solo Sikoa

The pivotal moment occurred during an interview on Royal Rumble weekend when Hayes openly recognized Solo Sikoa as his Tribal Chief. Looking back on their past, Hayes revealed ongoing bitterness regarding previous matches, especially when Sikoa beat him for the NXT North American Championship in September 2022.

Nevertheless, Hayes expressed admiration for Sikoa’s role within The Bloodline, remarking, “Now he’s my Tribal Chief, but back then, forget that guy.”

Implications for The Bloodline and WWE

Hayes’ choice to join forces with The Bloodline introduces a new aspect to the faction, particularly amid the rising tensions following recent incidents. At WWE Crown Jewel in November 2024, Solo Sikoa managed to pin Roman Reigns, which has heightened the drama within the group. Hayes’ addition could either bring unity or create further complexities in the faction’s internal dynamics.

For Hayes, this partnership represents a significant boost in his WWE journey. Joining a powerful faction like The Bloodline offers him an opportunity to participate in major storylines and matches, propelling his success within the organization.

In summary, Carmelo Hayes’ affiliation with The Bloodline signifies a crucial turning point in WWE’s ongoing narrative. As he recognizes Solo Sikoa as his Tribal Chief, fans can expect intriguing developments and shifts in power within the faction. This storyline not only enriches The Bloodline’s continuing saga but also reinforces Hayes’ position as a strong contender in WWE.
