Beyoncé Set to Rock Ravens-Texans Halftime on Netflix This Christmas

Beyoncé will headline the halftime show during the Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans game on Christmas Day, exclusively streamed on Netflix. This highly anticipated performance will take place in Beyoncé’s hometown of Houston, adding to the festive atmosphere.

Netflix announced the news on Sunday but has not disclosed specific details about the performance. The streaming platform hinted that the show may include guest appearances inspired by her *Cowboy Carter* album, which recently earned her a leading 11 Grammy nominations.

The Ravens-Texans matchup is one of two NFL games Netflix will stream on Christmas Day. The other game features the Kansas City Chiefs and Pittsburgh Steelers, sparking speculation that pop icon Taylor Swift, who has been linked to Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and will have concluded her *Eras* tour by then, could attend.

These NFL games mark Netflix’s latest expansion into live sports and event programming. This initiative follows the platform’s live-streamed boxing event just two days earlier, headlined by a fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul. Despite Jake Paul’s victory, the stream faced widespread technical issues, with at least 85,000 users reporting buffering problems on Down Detector.

Beyoncé is no stranger to iconic sports performances, having previously headlined the Super Bowl halftime show in 2013 and again in 2016. Her upcoming appearance on Christmas Day further cements her legacy as one of the most sought-after performers in live entertainment.

This collaboration between the NFL and Netflix signals the streaming giant’s commitment to carving a space in the competitive world of sports broadcasting, offering fans a blend of athletic action and superstar entertainment.
